Matar paneer (indian famous recipe)


Matar paneer recipe


Ingredients:


- 250gm paneer, cut into cubes

- 1 cup peas (fresh/frozen)

- 2 medium onions, chopped

- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped

- 2-3 green chilies

- 1 tsp cumin seeds

- 1 tsp coriander powder

- 1 tsp garam masala

- 1 tsp turmeric

- Salt, to taste

- 2 tbsp butter/ghee

- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

- 1 cup water

- Fresh cilantro, for garnish


Instructions:


1. Heat butter/ghee, add cumin seeds.

2. Add onions, cook until golden.

3. Add tomatoes, cook until soft.

4. Add peas, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, salt. Cook for 5 minutes.

5. Add paneer, flour, water. Cook until gravy thickens.

6. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice/naan.


Matar paneer

( Northern indian cosine)


- 250gm paneer, cube mein cut karein

- 1 cup matar (fresh/frozen)

- 2 medium pyaz, chopped karein

- 2 medium tamatar, chopped karein

- 2-3 hari mirch

- 1 tsp zeera

- 1 tsp dhania powder

- 1 tsp garam masala

- 1 tsp haldi

- Namak, zaiqa ke mutabiq

- 2 tbsp makkhan/ghee

- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

- 1 cup pani

- Fresh dhania, garnish ke liye


Tarkeeb:


1. Makkhan/ghee garam karein, zeera daalein.

2. Pyaz daalein, sunehra hone tak pakaein.

3. Tamatar daalein, naram hone tak pakaein.

4. Matar, dhania powder, garam masala, haldi, namak daalein. 5 minute tak pakaein.

5. Paneer, flour, pani daalein. Gravy thick hone tak pakaein.

6. Dhania se garnish karein. Chawal/naan ke saath serve karein.
