Qeema Matar Recipe
Qeema Matar ek classic Pakistani aur Indian dish hai jo keema (minced meat) aur matar (peas) ke sath banaya jata hai. Yeh recipe zaroori spices aur herbs ke sath banai jati hai jo isko ek unique flavor deti hai.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams qeema (minced meat, mutton or beef)
- 1 cup matar (green peas)
- 2 large pyaz (onions), finely chopped
- 2-3 lehsan (garlic) cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of adrak (ginger), minced
- 2-3 tamatar (tomatoes), finely chopped
- 2-3 green mirch (green chilies), slit
- 1 teaspoon haldi powder (turmeric powder)
- 1 teaspoon lal mirch powder (red chili powder)
- 1 teaspoon dhaniya powder (coriander powder)
- 1 teaspoon zeera powder (cumin powder)
- Salt to taste
- 3-4 tablespoons cooking oil
- Fresh dhaniya (coriander leaves) for garnishing
Method:
1. Pehle Tayari:
- Ek pan mein tel garam karein.
- Ismein chopped pyaz daal kar golden brown hone tak bhunain.
2. Masale Bhunana:
- Ab ismein lehsan aur adrak daal kar 1-2 minutes bhunain.
- Phir ismein chopped tamatar daal kar masala tab tak pakain jab tak tamatar naram ho jayein aur tel alag hone lage.
3. Qeema Daalna:
- Ab ismein qeema daal kar achi tarah se mix karein.
- Haldi, lal mirch, dhaniya, aur zeera powder daal kar achi tarah bhunain.
4. Matar Aur Pani:
- Jab qeema achi tarah se bhun jaye, tab ismein matar daal kar 1-2 minutes bhunain.
- Thoda sa pani daal kar dhak dain aur 15-20 minutes tak dhimi aanch par pakne dain.
5. Garnishing:
- Jab matar aur qeema donon achi tarah se pak jayein, tab hara dhaniya daal kar
ache se mix karein.
6. Serve Karein:
- Matar Qeema ko garam garam naan ya chawal ke sath serve karein.
