A simple Shakshuka step by step unique recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 large bell peppers, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4-6 eggs
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional)
- Crusty bread or pita, for serving
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
2. Add onions and bell peppers; cook until tender.
3. Add garlic, paprika, and cumin; cook 1 minute.
4. Add crushed tomatoes; simmer 15-20 minutes.
5. Create 4-6 wells; crack eggs into each.
6. Cover; cook 5-10 minutes or until eggs set.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Garnish with parsley or cilantro.
9. Serve with crusty bread or pita.
