Suji ke Laddu Recipe with Khopra (Coconut)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups suji (semolina)
- 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 cup cheeni (sugar)
- 1/2 cup paani (water)
- 1/4 teaspoon elaichi powder (cardamom powder)
- 1/4 teaspoon kesar (saffron threads) (optional)
- 1 cup khopra ka burada (grated coconut)
- Chopped dry fruits (optional)
Instructions:
1. Ek kadhai mein ghee garam karein, phir suji daalein aur sunehra brown hone tak bhun lein (continuously stir karein taake jal na jaye).
2. Jab suji fry ho jaye to cheeni, paani, elaichi powder aur kesar daalein. Mix karte rahein taake sugar puri tarah dissolve ho jaye.
3. Phir khopra ka burada daalein aur is mixture ko achi tarah se milayein. Dheemi aanch par 5-7 minute tak pakaayein.
4. Mixture ko thanda hone dein. Jab mixture halki garmahat mein ho, haathon mein halka ghee lagayein aur laddoo banayein.
5. Agar chahein to chopped dry fruits se garnish karein.
Tips:
- Suji ko fry karte waqt lagatar hilate rahein taake evenly roast ho aur jal na jaye.
- Aap apne taste ke mutabiq cheeni kam ya zyada kar sakte hain.
- Laddu banate waqt haath mein halka ghee lagayein taake mixture haath se chipke na.
Variations:
- Extra flavor ke liye dry fruits, jese ke badam ya kaju, bhi daalein.
- Chocolate chips daal kar ek unique twist add kar sakte hain.
- Nariyal ka doodh (coconut milk) bhi daal sakte hain thoda different texture ke liye.
