Ingredients :
- 1kg tamatar (1 kg tomatoes)
- 1/2 cup cheeni (1/2 cup sugar)
- 1/4 cup sirka (1/4 cup vinegar)
- 1 pyaaz (1 onion)
- 2 chhote tukde beetroot ke (2 small pieces of beetroot for color)
- 1 chhota tukda adrak (1 small piece of ginger, chopped)
- 2 lal mirch (2 red chilies)
- 3 lehsan ke joode (3 garlic cloves)
- Namak, zaiqa ke mutabiq (Salt, to taste)
Instructions (Tareeqa):
1. Tamatar ko bareek chop karain.
(Chop the tomatoes finely.)
2. Saare spices (cheeni, sirka, pyaaz, beetroot, adrak, mirch, lehsan, aur namak) tamatar mein daal kar medium flame par 30 minutes tak pakaain.
(Add all spices (sugar, vinegar, onion, beetroot, ginger, chilies, garlic, and salt) to the tomatoes and cook on medium flame for 30 minutes.)
3. Is mixture ko achay se blend karain.
(Blend this mixture well.)
4. Ab is ketchup ko jar mein daal kar store karain.
